OAK VIEW GROUP/CV FIREBIRDS w/ Steve Fraser. re: President of the CV Firebirds.
– REPORT that he is working to bring the CV Firebirds and the Acrisure Arena here. Acrisure is an insurance company out of Michigan.
– REPORT on his personal history.  From Indiana.  His career working w/ professional hockey teams.  Becoming a lawyer.  His life as a hockey player and skating as a defenseman.
– COMMENT that girls play hockey.
– DEFINITION of what “three sheets of ice” means in Seattle for instance.
– REPORT on the plans for hockey here in the Valley.  To provide exceptional entertainment to all the cities.  Their central location.|
– REPORT that they will provide programs, i.e. street hockey, until the Arena is up and running.
– REPORT that there will be community/public classes to understand and learn about hockey; to learn how to skate; etc.
– DISCUSSION of the Team Store; new merchandise, CVF Hockey Jersey sales, etc. Brand has been launched.  Retail store on El Paseo in Palm Desert.  Also available on-line.
– REPORT on the kids hockey programs the CV Firebirds are going to have. Figure skating as well.
– DISCUSSION of watching a hockey game in person vs. on televsion.
– REPORT that seating opportunities are on sale now.  In April, hockey only seats will become available.  PUT A DEPOSIT down now. Premium seating is going very quickly.
– REPORT on the proposed Community Center.  Concerts @ the Arena year-round.
