RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK w/ John Fritch re: “Peaks” Top of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. At the Mountain Station.
– REPORT that currently open for lunch only.  11 AM – 4 PM, 7 days a week.  Great remodeling.
– NEW Pines Café and New Peaks….design back to 1960’s original design.
– REPORT on the new Tropical Chutney Chicken Sandwich that’s on Peak’s lunch menu.
– DISCUSSION of the issues trying to “bake” @ the altitude at Peaks.
– DISCUSSION of the new menu items….yum!!!! Chocolate hazelnut crunch new dessert…..yum!!!!
– REPORT that the NEW Lookout Lounge has the same menu @ Peaks. Bar “looks out” over the Valley now, also a new lounge inside the Peaks Restaurant.
– REPORT that the “Ride ‘n Dine” will be back soon.
– DISCUSSION that you MUST get your Tram tickets FIRST, on line and then make your dinner reservations.
– REPORT that Peaks is named #8 on Architectural Digest’s list of the World’s Best Cliffside Restaurants.
