– DISCUSSION of the Three levels @ Brookdale care are: 1.) Independent Living 2). Assisted Living and 3.) Memory Care (Clare Bridge). Only openings @ the moment are in both Independent and Assisted Living.
– DISCUSSION of the ratio of 22 residents in Memory Care to 4 staff.
– DISCUSSION of the need to train/educate/inform family and friends as to what to expect, before their loved one enters Brookdale.
– DISCUSSION of the fact that Brookdale helps improve the family dynamic because it’s not all consuming now, or not nearly so hard on caregivers.
– DISCUSSION of the mental and physical advantages to living in this environment…..hopefully longer and better.
– Huge Mother’s Day Brunch tomorrow.
