BROOKDALE MIRAGE INN w/ Kurt Suminski re: Brookdale Mirage Inn, 72750 Country Club Dr., Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270.
– New programs: Brookdale has partnered w/ Alzheimers Association. i.e. 1.16. FREE from 3 to 4 PM “Healthy Living for your Brain and Body” for monthly events.
– Three levels @ Brookdale are: 1.) Independent Living 2). Assisted Living and 3.) Memory Care.
– After the Holidays families may see a need for a change in living conditions for parents.
– DISCUSSION of the family dynamics involved in placing parents @ Brookdale.
– Only 1 opening in the Memory Care facility @ this point in time.
– Next month: discussion of transferring folks from one Brookdale facility to another one somewhere else in the Country.
