– HOLD THE DATE: Mon. Feb., 26. “Vision for the Future” gala honoring Joe Giarusso, Pres. of the P.S.I.P.C. Held @ the Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage.
– REPORT on their mission statement; they have teaching artists that go to the school. They are an after-school program that integrates all the different areas of the arts for children. They partner w/ Palm Springs and Desert Sands Unified School Districts. They will be in 27 schools this year.
– REPORT that these programs are FREE to the children and the schools. They provide “kits” for FREE as well.
– REPORT that “sessions” are 8 to 12 weeks depending on the school. After hours. 90 minute class.

– REPORT that Feb., is the 4th “Have a Heart for Homeless Pets” month. Monies raised ALL MONTH by donations. On-line or in person. Partnered w/ the “Cowboy Cantina” in Palm Desert on Hwy., 111. Every Monday from 4 to 9 PM and MUST mention Animal Samaritans they will donate 15% of your ticket to Animal Samaritans. Goal is $5,000.

– REPORT on every Thurs., night 3 – 10 PM @ Texas Roadhouse in Indio. Donate a portion of proceeds BUT YOU MUST TAKE THE FLIER to qualify.
