– THEME FOR THE DAY; Bone Health
– REPORT that bone health does not get enough attention especially after menopause, women’s bones change.
– REPORT that we make more bone than we break down until the age of 30 when we start to lose 2% of our bone density each year after menopause.
– DISCUSSION of how bone density is measured. A type of X-Ray.
– REPORT on key factors to bone health.
1. Take over 1200 mg of calcium a day for women over 50.
2. Take about 800 to 1000 units a day pf Vit. D3.
3. Avoid smoking.
4. Moderate use of alcohol.
5. Weight bearing exercise.

– DESCRIPTION of the Barbie Display that’s at both stores. From the ‘60’s, ‘70’s, and ‘80’s. i.e. Pool scene, palm trees, pool, bbq Etc.


– REPORT on their product lines; Fresh, all organic skin care, made daily. If you can’t “eat” it you shouldn’t put it on your skin!!! Otherwise you are getting chemicals in your products.
– DISCUSSION of the 3 “rose” products they brought. Crème de la rose, rose cleanser and rose mist.

– MONOLOGUE by Marcel about America and his inspiration for creating this “flag rug”. A page of history.
– DISCUSSION of the rug he brought for Joey. Over a 2500 year-old tradition of rug making. This rug is imported, hand woven and yet modern.
– REPORT that this is a copy of the carpet he commissioned as the first AND ONLY 12 X 18 foot American flag carpet, w/ stars out of pure silk, the twin towers, and the verbiage “God Will Always Bless America.” Had to spin the wool, created the proper dyes. ALL Hand tied, knot-by-knot.
– REPORT on his patriotic activities, the original American Flag Rug he had secretly designed by his designers, donated to the City of Palm Springs, (on July 4, 2002) who then donated it to the City of New York from the City and People of Palm Springs. Home décor, garden, candles, ladies fashion and accessories, sun glasses, scarfs, pouches, purses, for both men and women….AND MORE. Taking an additional building across the greens from the original store. Stephen will be designing many of these items.
