Hour 1 Seg 3 – cont. Desert Oasis Health Care Segment. “The Medicine Cabinet”

Listen to Hour 1 Seg 3

D.O.H.C. w/ Dr. Lindsey Valenzuela re: 275 El Cielo Rd., Palm Springs, 92262. “Your Health, Your Life, Our Passion”. Vice President of Population Health and Health Integration.
– QUESTIONS from “Joey Pals”.
1. Is the Omicron Variant neutralized by the 3rd shot? (The effectiveness of the 3 shots is just as effective against Omicron as the original 2 shots were against the original virus.)
2. Why don’t we just get a booster every 6 months to avoid the next variant? (We get there by getting more people vaccinated and therefore there will be less virus out there.)
3. Will the virus be GONE in 2022? (No, it will probably NEVER be completely gone.  It’s a NEW version of the original Corona virus, part of the common cold, that has been w/ us ALL OF OUR LIVES.)
4. Do vaccines “wear off”? (Not completely.  Vaccines change your immune system for a certain period of time. Over time your immune system “FORGETS” so there is/will be a need for a reminder, a booster.)
5. Pfiser says we will need a 4th shot by next winter? (Probably, just like flu.  Moderna is working on one vaccine for both Covid and Flu).
6. Are there oral vaccines? (Not a vaccine, but an anti-viral that you can take @ the early stages of infection.  By prescription from your doctor.)
7, Is there a new eye drop to eliminate the need for reading glasses? (Yes, it works for about 6 hours. A “moisture” issue really.)
8. How important is magnesium to us? (Yes, helps w/ sleep for instance. Quality is dependent on manufacturer.)
4. Is there a protein that will reverse muscle aging? (Not info out there to answer yet, but try to retain your muscle mass as you age).
– REPORT that D.O.H.C.’s clinics are open Mon. – Friday @ P.S. & Indio & Yucca Valley FOR BOTH FLU AND COVID.  By appointment please. FREE. Go on www.mydohc.com.
– (contact info: www.mydohc.com and (760) 969-6555).
