– REPORT that we are now starting our 14th week of “sheltering in place”.
– REPORT that the surge is starting that we had expected back in April.
– East Valley (Coachella and Indio) is testing positive @ a rate of 320%.
– WE NOW have 100 patients in the 3 hospitals in the Valley that have tested positive. Ventilators are not recommended any more. Patients are 50 and above and will most likely not survive.
– REPORT that the “surge” hospital in Indio might need to come back.
– REPORT on the drug dexamethasone reducing mortality in hospital patients. NO SHORTAGE OF THIS DRUG. Inexpensive.

– 1st transgender person to be elected in California for a non-judicial position in Nov., 2017.
– REPORT on the history of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and report on @ least three of the incidents that led to the recent decision by the Supreme Court.
– DISCUSSION that the question before the Court was “did the decision from 1964 pertain to people who are transgendered?”.
– REPORT that the 6 to 3 decision in favor of the LGBTQ Community included votes from Conservative jurists, surprisingly.
– REPORT that in 1964 when Congress passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and President Johnson signed it into law “ON THE BASIS OF SEX” the verbiage meant WOMEN at that point in time!!!!!

– Started w/ her classmates and then has expanded to include volunteers from around the United States. Has branches in San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange Country, Reno, Seattle and here.
