– Explanation of the meaning of Hanukkah. Basically the right to worship the way one pleases. Celebrate Hanukkah for 8 days. The miracle of the lighting of the candle that lasted 8 days.
– Rabbi Sally is the “Coffee House Rabbi” for a group that meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday @ 10 AM @ the Hyatt Hotel. Classes that teach gratitude and is open to ALL.
– Rabbi Sally will do memorial services for pets/animals for familys.

– Dr. Cohen is the Medical Director of Family Hospice Care.
– Donna is the Director of Volunteer Services for Family Hospice Care. In her photo she is wearing a shawl that one of the volunteers knitted to the patients.
– Donna meets EVERY new patient that comes to Family Hospice and discusses their needs.
– Medicare considers volunteers as employees who do not get paid.
– Hospice programs MUST HAVE a volunteer program. 12 hours of classes are required. They learn the philosophy and history. Volunteers must learn each discipline.
– Many hospice volunteers are family/friends of former hospice patients who can return after one year.
– Hospice services come to where you live.
– 98% of volunteers want to meet the patients.
– Volunteers do music, reflexology, poetry, writing of life stories, etc.
– Volunteers usually go to a patient once a week.
