– REPORT that we are starting our 53rd week of the Pandemic.
– REPORT that 34 Million Americans have been vaccinated and 62 Million Americans have had the 1st dose. 500,000 doses in the Coachella Valley. 4.1 positivity rate. NEED TO GET MORE TESTING.
– REPORT that in partnership to the schools, D.O.H.C. will offer vaccinations so the kids can start back to school/sports. Working to vaccinate teachers as well.
– REPORT that the mobile unit is out there to test, vaccinate, etc. “Bringing care to where you’re at.”
– DISCUSSION of either arm for vaccination. Most folks want the vaccination in their less dominate arm.

– REPORT that the vaccines are very effective against the variants of the virus. The variant B117 is more lethal and easier to transmit, SO GET VACCINATED.
These variants are becoming the DOMINATE virus. More lethal IF you get one of these and easier to transmit.
