1. What is the new California virus? (Has been identified and the virus has to mutate to stay in the host. CA. has 2. Vaccine makers are developing a booster to deal w/ these variants.)
2. FROM GARRY….Are you “for” or “against” pooling vaccines? (Df. of pooling. FDA says you can’t pool remnants because of increase of danger of infection, BUT Brian is IN FAVOR of it).
– REPORT that D.O.H.C. has a vaccination facility in Indio and reaching out to the community there.
– REPORT that D.O.H.C. HAS NOT WASTED A DOSE!!
– REPORT that Sanofi and other manufacturers are loaning their equipment to Pfiser and Moderna to produce MORE vaccine. Cut the time to produce vaccine in half.
– REPORT that Johnson and Johnson’s single dose vaccine is almost ready to administer. Efficacy of the single shot if great. Possibly just get a little sick, NOT be hospitalized AND CERTAINLY will not die.
– DISCUSSION that Pfiser and Moderna will get passed the EUA category.
