– 2/20 – Dedication of the Pierre Cardin Star (#440) on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in front of Starbucks @ 2 PM. Pierre’s nephew will be there. OPEN to the public.
– P. Cardin built a hotel in Palm Springs that is now the Hyatt.
– DISCUSSION of their documentary film “The House of Cardin”. How they spent a whole year w/ Pierre for the film and DISCUSSION of all of his “firsts” here in Palm Springs and the world.
– P. Cardin is 97 years old and still working.
– 2/21 – “House of Cardin” will be the opening Architecture & Design film for Modernism Week @ the Plaza Theater @ 7:30 PM. Tix www.modernismweek.com.
– During Modernism Week (2/13 – 2/21) see the “pop up” exhibit of Pierre Cardin @ the Rowan.
