– Interesting drug recall (in the U.S. and Europe) of valsartan due to an impurity in the product that is a possible carcinogen. Valsartan is a common drug for the treatment of blood pressure issues. Don’t stop taking the medication. This is a conservative step on the part of the drug companies.
– A recent CDC study determined that OTHER immediate care facilities overprescribe antibiotics, especially for upper respiratory infections, but D.O.H.C. was ahead of this study and is not doing overprescribing antibiotics.
