Heading into the holiday season after a loss; some of the ways people “prepare” to die; hospice care; the importance of pre-planning AND pre-paying for funerals, burial insurance. Burying things w/people, mostly photographs. Don’t put jewelry into the cremation process but in the urn later if wanted.

People wait too long to enter hospice care. Especially patients w/cancer fight especially hard. Teaching hospice residency programs at Eisenhower Medical Center and Desert Regional Medical Center. Connie’s 80th birthday and being a patient advocate.
